1994 – Women’s Business Council incorporated as a non-profit organization
1997 – Council is one of the four founding partner organizations of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC)
2003 – Women’s Business Council becomes Women’s Business Council Gulf Coast (WBCGC) after the addition of Mississippi, Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle to its territory
2008 – WBENC awards WBCGC the state of Tennessee and the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBEC South) is created
2014 – WBEC South celebrates 20 years of success!
